Mustafa Saadoun

An Iraqi right-back who trained at the RCD Espanyol Academy in Baghdad before progressing through Al-Kahrabaa and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya to Al-Shorta. He made his international debut in October 2023 and was part of the Iraqi team that won bronze at the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup.

Saadoun spent his youth career at the RCD Espanyol Academy in Baghdad before beginning his professional career with Al-Kahrabaa in 2022. He joined Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya in August 2023 and later Al-Shorta.

He made his senior international debut for Iraq in a goalless draw against Qatar on 13 October 2023 and was part of the Iraqi U-23 team that achieved bronze at the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup, qualifying for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
