Nico Elvedi

Nico Elvedi is a Swiss centre-back from Zürich who has made over 300 appearances for Borussia Mönchengladbach since joining in 2015 and holds 67 senior caps for Switzerland.

Elvedi developed through FC Zürich's youth setup before making his professional debut in 2014. He joined Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2015 for €4 million and has become a long-serving cornerstone of their defence, surpassing 300 appearances for the Bundesliga club.

Internationally he was part of the Switzerland squads at Euro 2020, where they eliminated France before losing to Spain in the quarter-finals, and the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He holds 67 caps and 3 international goals.
