Pascal Groß

Pascal Groß is a versatile German midfielder who has spent the majority of his career at Brighton & Hove Albion, where he was named Player of the Year twice. A late international bloomer, he made his Germany senior debut at 32 and went on to earn 18 caps including selection for UEFA Euro 2024 and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Groß came through Hoffenheim's academy and spent spells at Karlsruher SC and FC Ingolstadt, where 158 appearances included the club's 2014–15 promotion from the 2. Bundesliga. Brighton signed him in 2017 and he quickly became a fan favourite, making 247 competitive appearances, scoring 31 goals, and winning the Player of the Year award twice (2017–18 and 2023–24).

He had a two-season stint at Borussia Dortmund from 2024 to 2026, making 41 appearances, before returning to Brighton. Internationally, he made his senior Germany debut in September 2023 and featured at Euro 2024, accumulating 18 caps and 1 goal.
