The story

Saleh Al-Shehri is a Saudi Arabian striker for Al-Ittihad and the national team.

An Al-Ahli academy graduate, Al-Shehri had early loan spells in Portugal before returning to Saudi Arabia with Al-Raed and then Al-Hilal. He joined Al-Ittihad on a free transfer in July 2024 and won a domestic double in his first season.

For Saudi Arabia, he scored the equalizer in the historic 2-1 victory over Argentina at the 2022 World Cup.
