The story

Salem Al-Dawsari is a Saudi Arabian left winger who captains Al-Hilal and the national team.

Al-Dawsari joined Al-Hilal's academy as a teenager and has spent almost his entire senior career with the club, aside from a short 2018 loan at Villarreal. He has won numerous Saudi and Asian titles and scored in Al-Hilal's 2019 AFC Champions League final victory.

A senior international since 2012, he has appeared at three World Cups and scored the winning goal against Argentina in Saudi Arabia's celebrated 2022 group-stage upset.
