Sherzod Esanov

Sherzod Esanov is a young Uzbek central midfielder who won the 2023 AFC U-20 Asian Cup with Uzbekistan's under-20 side and has gone on to play in Russia and Belarus before returning home to FC Bukhara. He made his senior national team debut in 2026.

Esanov came through youth football at Chigatoy and made his senior debut at FK Andijon in 2022, where he contributed to the club's Uzbekistan Pro League title. A loan spell at FC Olympic Tashkent followed before he moved to Russia with FC Akron Tolyatti and then FC Dynamo Brest in Belarus.

He returned to Uzbekistan to join FC Bukhara in 2026 and made his senior international debut that same year. His most notable achievement remains the 2023 AFC U-20 Asian Cup triumph, in which he was a prominent figure for the Uzbekistan youth squad.
