Yengi signed with Newcastle Jets in December 2020 and made nine A-League appearances before joining Ipswich Town in September 2021. Loan spells followed, including a productive stint at Finnish club VPS where he scored 7 goals and won the club's Player of the Year award, plus spells at Northampton Town and KuPS.

He signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Livingston in 2024, scoring 10 goals across 42 appearances in 2024–25 and helping the club secure promotion to the Scottish Premiership via the playoff final.
