The story

A veteran Belgian right-back with 79 caps and 10 goals, Meunier converted from a forward position to become one of Belgium's most reliable defenders, winning three Ligue 1 titles with PSG and the DFB-Pokal with Borussia Dortmund.

Meunier began at Virton before joining Club Brugge in 2011, where he transitioned from a forward role to right-back and was named Belgian Footballer of the Year in 2015. PSG signed him in 2016 and he won three consecutive Ligue 1 titles and multiple domestic cups.

He moved to Borussia Dortmund in 2020, winning the DFB-Pokal in 2021, then had a spell at Trabzonspor before joining Lille in 2024. He has represented Belgium at major international tournaments including the 2018 World Cup third-place campaign.
