Yassine Bounou

Yassine Bounou, widely known as Bono, is a Morocco goalkeeper for Al-Hilal noted for his penalty-saving and performances in major tournaments.

Bounou began with Wydad before moving to Atletico Madrid and building his career in Spain with Zaragoza, Girona and Sevilla. He won two Europa League titles at Sevilla and later collected league and cup honours with Al-Hilal.

He became Morocco's senior goalkeeper in 2013, starred in the country's run to the 2022 World Cup semi-finals and was part of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations-winning squad.
