Baris Yilmaz

Barış Alper Yılmaz is a Turkish professional winger born on 23 May 2000 in Rize. He progressed through lower Turkish divisions before joining Galatasaray in July 2021, quickly becoming a key fixture in the Istanbul club's attack.

After developing in the Turkish lower leagues, Yılmaz established himself at Galatasaray, contributing to four consecutive Süper Lig title wins between 2022–23 and 2025–26 and a Turkish Cup triumph in 2024–25. In 141 league appearances for the club he scored 30 goals and also featured in UEFA Champions League football, including a goal against Juventus in 2025–26.

He made his senior Turkey debut in November 2021 and has earned 35 caps, scoring 4 goals. He was part of the Turkey squad at UEFA Euro 2024 and represented his country at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
