Jules Koundé

Jules Koundé is a French defender who progressed through Bordeaux's academy before joining Sevilla and then FC Barcelona. Versatile at both centre-back and right-back, he has earned 48 caps for France and won multiple La Liga titles with Barcelona.

After developing at Bordeaux, Koundé moved to Sevilla in 2019 and won the UEFA Europa League in his debut season. Barcelona signed him in 2022 and he established himself as a key right-back, winning three La Liga titles and other domestic honours.

For France, Koundé has been a regular in the squad since 2021, participating in Euro 2020, the 2022 World Cup final, and Euro 2024.
