A história
Luiz Henrique is a Brazilian right winger who burst onto the international scene after winning the 2024 Copa Libertadores with Botafogo — earning South American Footballer of the Year — before joining Zenit Saint Petersburg.
Luiz Henrique made his professional debut at Fluminense in 2020 and spent two seasons there before moving to Spanish club Real Betis in 2022. After 47 league appearances in Spain he returned to Brazil with Botafogo in 2024 and had a transformative season, scoring 7 league goals and being named Hero of the Tournament as Botafogo won the Copa Libertadores. He was subsequently voted South American Footballer of the Year and won the Prêmio Craque do Brasileirão.
Zenit Saint Petersburg signed him in January 2025 and he continued his form, helping them win the Russian Premier League in 2025-26. He made his Brazil senior debut in September 2024 and has since accumulated 15 caps and 2 goals.
