Mehdi Taremi

Mehdi Taremi is Iran's all-time top scorer with 60 international goals, a prolific striker who starred at FC Porto and subsequently joined Inter Milan and Olympiacos.

After establishing himself at Persepolis in Iran, Taremi moved abroad via Al-Gharafa and Rio Ave before joining FC Porto in 2020, where he became one of the most celebrated strikers in Primeira Liga history, winning the title in 2021–22 and multiple Taças de Portugal. He made a high-profile move to Inter Milan in 2024 and then joined Olympiacos in 2025.

With 105 caps and 60 goals for Iran, he is the nation's record scorer, having represented the country at the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups and multiple AFC Asian Cups. He reached the UEFA Champions League final with Inter Milan in 2024–25.
