Stephen Eustáquio

Stephen Eustaquio is a Canadian midfielder playing for Los Angeles FC on loan from Porto. He developed in Portugal, overcame a serious knee injury in Mexico and became a title-winning player with Porto.

Eustaquio progressed through Portugal's lower leagues to Leixoes and Chaves before joining Cruz Azul, where an injury disrupted his spell. He rebuilt his career at Pacos de Ferreira, moved to Porto in 2022 and won league and cup honours before a 2026 loan to LAFC.

He represented Portugal at under-21 level, switched to Canada and debuted in 2019. He has since become a national-team vice-captain and played at the 2022 World Cup and 2024 Copa America.
