About the stadium

Opened in 1987 and extensively rebuilt in 2016, the Miami Dolphins’ home gained a vast cantilevered canopy that shades the stands without enclosing the pitch. The surrounding campus also hosts the Miami Grand Prix and the Miami Open.

It staged the 2024 Copa América final and the opening match of the 2025 Club World Cup, and in 2026 hosts a quarter-final and the third-place play-off.
