About the stadium

Opened in 2020 in Inglewood as the centrepiece of a vast entertainment district, SoFi Stadium is the most expensive sports venue ever built at roughly $5 billion. A translucent ETFE canopy floats above an indoor-outdoor bowl sunk into the ground.

Home to the Rams and Chargers and a future 2028 Olympic venue, it hosted Copa América 2024 matches and stages a 2026 World Cup quarter-final.
