Brian Gutiérrez

Brian Gutiérrez is a Mexican attacking midfielder born in the United States who built his early career with Chicago Fire in MLS before switching to Liga MX with Guadalajara. Having initially represented the United States at youth and senior level, he switched his international allegiance to Mexico in January 2026.

Gutiérrez came through the Chicago Fire academy and went on to make 152 MLS appearances for the club between 2020 and 2025, establishing himself as one of the league's more creative midfielders. He then moved to Guadalajara in 2025, debuting in Liga MX.

Originally capped by the United States, he changed his international allegiance to Mexico in January 2026 and was included in the squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
