Connor Metcalfe

Connor Metcalfe is an Australian central midfielder who has played for FC St. Pauli in Germany since February 2022, helping the club win promotion to the Bundesliga. He earned 36 caps for Australia's senior team.

Metcalfe progressed through Melbourne City's youth ranks from 2014, earning a senior scholarship in 2017 and making his A-League debut against Central Coast Mariners. During five seasons at Melbourne City, he made 73 league appearances and scored 9 goals, winning the Harry Kewell Medal as Australia's young player of the year in 2021.

He signed a three-year contract with FC St. Pauli in February 2022 when the club were in the 2. Bundesliga and had made over 100 combined appearances for the club by the time they completed their promotion to the top flight in 2023–24.
