Cucho Hernández

Dynamic Colombian striker who made his name in MLS with Columbus Crew, winning the 2023 MLS Cup as MVP and the 2024 Leagues Cup, before joining Real Betis in La Liga in February 2025.

Hernández began at Deportivo Pereira, making his debut at age 15. His career took him across Europe via Granada and Watford, with several loan spells at Spanish clubs (Huesca, Mallorca, Getafe) where he developed into a consistent scorer. In 2022 he joined Columbus Crew for a club-record $10 million fee.

In MLS he became one of the league's most prolific forwards, winning the 2023 MLS Cup (as MVP) and the 2024 Leagues Cup (Best Player). He earned two MLS Best XI selections before joining Real Betis permanently in February 2025. For Colombia he has 8 senior caps and 2 goals.
