Darwin Núñez

Darwin Núñez is Uruguay's frontline striker, known for his pace and physicality. A Premier League winner with Liverpool and former Benfica top scorer, he moved to Al-Hilal in 2025.

After emerging at Peñarol and scoring prolifically on loan at Almería, Núñez joined Benfica in 2020 and won the Primeira Liga Golden Boot with 26 goals in 28 games in 2021–22. Liverpool signed him for €75 million in 2022 and he won the 2024–25 Premier League title before a move to Al-Hilal for €53 million.

He has earned 38 caps and scored 13 goals for Uruguay, participating in the 2022 World Cup and 2024 Copa América.
