Fabinho is a Brazilian defensive midfielder renowned for his composure, tackling and ability to read the game, who won the Champions League and Premier League with Liverpool before moving to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia.
Fabinho came through Fluminense's academy and developed at Rio Ave on loan before Monaco signed him in 2013. He spent five prolific seasons in France, making 233 appearances and winning Ligue 1 in 2016-17, before Liverpool paid £39 million for him in 2018. At Anfield he became one of the world's best holding midfielders, winning the UEFA Champions League in 2019, the Premier League in 2020, the FA Cup and EFL Cup in 2022, and a clutch of other domestic and continental trophies.
In 2023 he joined Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League, where he has won the league title and King's Cup. Internationally, Fabinho has earned 33 caps for Brazil with no goals, featuring in Copa América tournaments in 2015, 2016 and 2021.
