Ghislain Konan

Ghislain Konan is an attacking left-back who spent five seasons at Stade de Reims and later played in Saudi Arabia, earning selection in the AFCON 2023 Team of the Tournament as Ivory Coast claimed the title on home soil.

Konan came through ASEC Mimosas before joining Vitória Guimarães, where he spent two seasons in the Portuguese top flight. Stade de Reims then signed him, and from 2018 to 2022 he made 95 league appearances for the Champagne club, earning recognition as one of Ligue 1's best full-backs.

He moved to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia in 2022 and, after a loan at Al-Fayha, joined Gil Vicente in Portugal. He was part of the Ivory Coast squad that won the 2023 AFCON and was named in the tournament's best XI.
