Jonathan Tah

Jonathan Tah is a German centre-back who spent a decade at Bayer Leverkusen before joining FC Bayern Munich in May 2025. He is one of Germany's most experienced defenders with over 47 senior caps, and he won the historic unbeaten Bundesliga title with Leverkusen in 2023–24.

Tah progressed through youth academies at Hamburger SV before joining Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 for €7.5 million, where he became a long-serving cornerstone of the defence. He was a key figure in Leverkusen's extraordinary 2023–24 season in which they won the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal without losing a match.

He transferred to Bayern Munich in May 2025 on a deal through 2029 and promptly won another domestic double in his first season. Internationally, he has appeared at Euro 2016 and Euro 2024 among other major tournaments, accumulating 47 Germany senior caps.
