Die Geschichte

Jordan Ayew is one of Ghana's most capped players with 120 appearances and 34 goals, having represented the Black Stars at two World Cups and six Africa Cup of Nations tournaments. The son of legendary Ghanaian striker Abedi Pelé, he became Ghana captain in 2025 and continues his club career with Leicester City.

Ayew came through Olympique de Marseille's academy and spent five seasons with the senior side before moves to Lorient and Aston Villa. He joined Swansea City in 2017 and subsequently moved to Crystal Palace, where he spent five productive seasons and won their Player of the Year award in 2019–20.

Leicester City signed him in 2024 and he has contributed 11 goals in 72 appearances for the club. Internationally he debuted early and became a central figure in Ghana's attack across more than a decade, also finishing as runners-up at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
