Jorge Sánchez

Right-back who developed through Santos Laguna's youth ranks and became a mainstay of the Mexico national team with 57 caps. Has played at Club América, Ajax, Porto, and PAOK FC, winning Liga MX, the Taça de Portugal, and two CONCACAF Gold Cups.

Sánchez rose through Santos Laguna's academy before winning Liga MX titles with both Santos and Club América in 2018. He made over 125 appearances for América, earning a move to Ajax in the Netherlands.

At Ajax he gained European experience before a loan to Porto, where he won the 2023–24 Taça de Portugal. He then joined PAOK FC in Greece, while continuing to be a first-choice right-back for Mexico, earning an Olympic bronze at Tokyo 2020 and back-to-back Gold Cup wins in 2023 and 2025.
