Juan Quintero

Juan Fernando Quintero is a creative professional attacking midfielder who plays for Argentine club River Plate and represents the Colombia national team.

Quintero developed at Envigado and played for Atlético Nacional, Pescara, Porto, Rennes, and Independiente Medellín before joining River Plate, where he scored the famous extra-time winner in the 2018 Copa Libertadores final. After spells with Shenzhen, Junior, Racing, and América de Cali, he returned to River Plate in 2025.

He represented Colombia at the 2014 and 2018 World Cups, and the 2024 Copa América.
