Leon Goretzka

Leon Goretzka is a German midfielder and integral part of FC Bayern Munich, where he has won multiple Bundesliga titles and a UEFA Champions League. One of Germany's most experienced internationals with 70 caps and 15 goals, he has been a fixture in the national side for nearly a decade.

Goretzka developed at VfL Bochum before making over 100 Bundesliga appearances at Schalke 04 from 2013 to 2018. He then joined Bayern Munich on a free transfer in 2018, quickly becoming a key member of their midfield and winning a string of domestic and European trophies.

His standout club achievement came in 2019–20 when Bayern won the UEFA Champions League as part of a treble. Internationally he won the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and won a silver medal at the 2016 Olympics, and has since accumulated 70 senior caps and 15 goals for Germany.
