Thiago

Igor Thiago is a Brazilian striker who overcame difficult early circumstances — working as a bricklayer in his teens — to become one of the Premier League's most prolific forwards with Brentford. He finished the 2025–26 season as the second-highest scorer in the Premier League.

Thiago made his professional debut for Cruzeiro in 2020 before moving to Ludogorets in Bulgaria, where he won two league titles, and then Club Brugge in Belgium, where he scored 18 goals in 34 league appearances. Brentford signed him for approximately £30 million in February 2024.

At Brentford, Thiago quickly became a key figure, earning consecutive Premier League Player of the Month awards in November 2025 and January 2026. His first Brazil call-up came in March 2026, and he scored twice in his first three international appearances.
