Yazeed Abu Layla

Yazeed Moein Hasan Abu Laila is a Jordanian international goalkeeper born on 8 January 1993 in Amman. Regarded as one of Jordan's finest goalkeepers of his generation, he was named in the AFC Asian Cup Team of the Tournament in 2023.

Abu Laila began his professional career with Shabab Al-Ordon in 2012 before moving to Al-Faisaly SC in 2017, where he became first choice and won six Jordanian Pro League titles alongside multiple cup honours. He made his international debut on 1 June 2017 in a defeat to Iraq and went on to be Jordan's number one throughout their historic run to the 2023 AFC Asian Cup final.

He earned the 2023 AFC Asian Cup Team of the Tournament accolade and contributed to Jordan's runner-up finish at the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup. As of March 2026 he held 64 senior caps with Jordan and was included in the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
