Alan Franco

Alan Franco is an Ecuadorian central midfielder who has spent the bulk of his career at Atlético Mineiro in Brazil, after coming through Independiente del Valle. He has earned over 50 caps for the Ecuador national team and featured at two World Cups.

Franco developed at Independiente del Valle, where he won the Copa Sudamericana in 2019, before joining Atlético Mineiro in 2020. With Mineiro he was part of the squad that claimed the Campeonato Brasileiro and Copa do Brasil double in 2021, cementing him as a key figure in midfield.

At international level he made his senior Ecuador debut and has accumulated more than 57 caps, taking part in the 2021 and 2024 Copa América tournaments as well as the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
