Alistair Johnston

Alistair Johnston is a Canadian right-back for Celtic and the Canada national team. He moved to Scotland after establishing himself in Major League Soccer with Nashville and CF Montreal.

Johnston played college soccer at St. John's and Wake Forest before Nashville selected him in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft. After a season with CF Montreal, he joined Celtic in January 2023 and became part of multiple Scottish title-winning sides.

He made his Canada debut in 2021, represented the country at the 2022 World Cup and 2024 Copa America, and was selected in the latter tournament's best XI.
