La historia

Bernardo Silva is one of Portugal's most decorated midfielders, a six-time Premier League champion and Champions League winner with Manchester City, and a two-time UEFA Nations League winner with Portugal.

Silva emerged through Benfica's academy and won Ligue 1 with Monaco in 2016–17 before joining Manchester City in the same summer. At City, he became a cornerstone of Pep Guardiola's squad, winning six Premier League titles and being part of the 2022–23 continental treble that included the club's first Champions League. He was named Manchester City Player of the Year in 2019 and won the Nations League Player of the Tournament in the same year.

Internationally, Silva has earned 107 caps and 14 goals for Portugal as of November 2025, contributing to Nations League victories in 2019 and 2025 and featuring in major tournaments including Euro 2016 and the 2022 World Cup.
