David Raya

David Raya is a Spanish goalkeeper who has been Arsenal's first-choice keeper since joining permanently in July 2024. He is widely regarded as one of the world's best goalkeepers, known for his distribution and sweeper-keeper style.

Raya came through Blackburn Rovers' academy and spent five seasons there (2014–19), helping the club win promotion from League One in 2018. He then joined Brentford, where 150 appearances and a key role in their Championship play-off triumph in 2021 earned him a move to Arsenal on loan in 2023.

Arsenal made his transfer permanent in July 2024 and he became a cornerstone of their Premier League title-winning side in 2025–26, also winning multiple Golden Glove awards.
