Dayot Upamecano

Dayot Upamecano is a French centre-back who rose through the Red Bull academy system before joining FC Bayern Munich in 2021 for €42.5 million. A powerful and athletic defender, he has won multiple Bundesliga titles and earned 38 caps for France.

After developing at Red Bull Salzburg, Upamecano moved to RB Leipzig in 2017 and established himself as one of Europe's most promising young defenders. Bayern Munich signed him in 2021 and he has gone on to win four Bundesliga titles with the club.

Internationally, he has been a regular in France's back line, reaching the 2022 World Cup final and winning the 2021 UEFA Nations League.
