Dostonbek Khamdamov is an Uzbek professional winger born on 24 July 1996 in Bekabad. A decorated youth international, he became the first Uzbek player nominated for the Asian Young Footballer of the Year award, which he won in 2015 following a brilliant showing at the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Khamdamov emerged at youth level, helping Uzbekistan win the 2012 AFC U-16 Championship and claim bronze at the 2014 AFC U-19 Championship. His breakthrough came at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup, where he scored three goals as Uzbekistan reached the quarter-finals, earning him the Asian Young Footballer of the Year honour. He subsequently led Uzbekistan's U-23 side to the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship title.
At senior level, he has earned 33 caps and scored 5 goals for Uzbekistan, playing for several clubs including Pakhtakor Tashkent. He was included in Uzbekistan's 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
