La historia

Ederson Santana de Moraes is a Brazilian goalkeeper renowned for his exceptional distribution and ball-playing ability. He spent eight years at Manchester City (2017–2025), winning 18 major honours including the 2023 UEFA Champions League and six Premier League titles.

Ederson developed through Portuguese football and joined Benfica in 2015, winning back-to-back Primeira Liga titles before Manchester City signed him for £35 million in 2017. Under Pep Guardiola, he became the first-choice goalkeeper and earned three consecutive Premier League Golden Glove awards (2020–2022).

He won The Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper award in 2023 and helped City complete a historic treble that year. After eight seasons at City, he joined Fenerbahçe in September 2025. Internationally, he has represented Brazil at three World Cups (2018, 2022, 2026) and won the 2019 Copa América.
