Edouard Mendy

Edouard Mendy is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for and captains Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli, and represents the Senegal national team.

Mendy played for Reims and Rennes before joining Chelsea in 2020, where he won the Champions League and was named the Best FIFA Goalkeeper. In 2023, he transferred to Saudi side Al-Ahli, winning two AFC Champions League Elite titles.

Internationally, he won the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal, where he was named the tournament's best goalkeeper, and also helped them reach the final in 2019 and 2025.
