Eric García

Eric García is a Spanish centre-back at FC Barcelona, where he returned on a free transfer in 2021 after two seasons at Manchester City. He has been part of Barcelona's recent trophy-laden era and won the 2024 Olympic gold medal with Spain's under-23 side.

García joined Barcelona's La Masia academy before moving to Manchester City aged 17, making his Premier League debut in September 2019 and winning the league in 2020–21. He returned to Barcelona for free in June 2021, and after a loan season at Girona in 2023–24 where he scored five goals, he rejoined the first team.

At Barcelona he has won three La Liga titles, the Copa del Rey and multiple Supercopa de España trophies. Internationally, he earned his senior debut in 2021 and has accumulated 21 caps.
