Heung-min Son

Heung-min Son is a world-class South Korean professional forward who plays for Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC and captains the South Korea national team.

Son moved to Germany at age 16 to join Hamburger SV, later playing for Bayer Leverkusen. He signed with Tottenham Hotspur in 2015, where he won the Premier League Golden Boot and led them to the Europa League title in 2025 before transferring to Los Angeles FC.

He is the joint-top South Korean goalscorer in World Cup history, won a gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games, and is the all-time appearance leader for South Korea.
