Joan García

Joan Garcia is a Spanish goalkeeper who joined FC Barcelona in June 2025 after Barcelona activated his €25 million release clause from Espanyol. He won the La Liga Zamora Trophy in 2025–26 and is an Olympic gold medallist from Paris 2024.

Garcia progressed through youth academies before joining Espanyol's system in 2016. He made his first-team debut in December 2021 and became Espanyol's first-choice goalkeeper by March 2024, earning widespread recognition for his shot-stopping.

Barcelona signed him in June 2025 and he went on to win La Liga and the Supercopa de España in his debut season, also claiming the Zamora Trophy as the division's best goalkeeper. He made his Spain senior debut in March 2026.
