Kaan Ayhan

Kaan Ayhan is a German-born Turkish centre-back who has won multiple Süper Lig titles with Galatasaray since joining in 2023. He switched international allegiance from Germany to Turkey in 2016 and has since earned over 70 caps.

Ayhan came through the Schalke 04 academy before spending four successful seasons at Fortuna Düsseldorf, where he won the 2. Bundesliga title in 2017–18. He then joined Sassuolo in Serie A for three years before returning to Turkey with Galatasaray in 2023.

At Galatasaray he has been part of four consecutive Süper Lig title-winning squads. Having represented Germany at youth level, he switched to Turkey for the senior team in 2016 and has made 71 appearances, scoring 5 goals.
