Kristijan Jakić

A defensive midfielder from Split who won the UEFA Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022, famously helping eliminate Barcelona en route to the title.

Jakić developed in Croatian football before joining Dinamo Zagreb in 2020. A loan to Eintracht Frankfurt the following year led to a permanent deal, and he played a key part in their historic Europa League campaign, which included eliminating Barcelona and culminated in the 2022 title. He moved to FC Augsburg in January 2024 and secured a permanent transfer that summer.

He has earned 17 senior caps for Croatia and scored 2 goals, representing the national side since 2021 including at the 2022 World Cup.
