Luis Mejía

Luis Mejía is a Panamanian goalkeeper who has spent the majority of his career in Uruguay with Club Nacional and Centro Atlético Fénix, winning two Uruguayan league titles and earning 56 international caps.

Mejía began at Tauro FC before joining Centro Atlético Fénix in Uruguay, where he established himself as a first-choice goalkeeper. He joined Club Nacional in 2015, won Uruguayan titles in 2019 and 2020, and after losing his starting place briefly returned to Fénix and had a spell at Unión Española in Chile.

He rejoined Nacional in 2024 as their primary goalkeeper following Sergio Rochet's transfer, and has remained a fixture in the Panama national team set-up.
