Marcelo Flores

Marcelo Flores is a Canadian attacking midfielder and winger for Tigres UANL. After representing Mexico at youth and senior levels, he completed a one-time international switch and debuted for Canada in 2026.

Flores developed with Ipswich Town and Arsenal, signed professionally in London and made his senior debut during a loan with Real Oviedo. He transferred to Tigres in 2023 and became a regular in Liga MX.

Born in Ontario and eligible for three countries, he first played senior friendlies and a Nations League match for Mexico. FIFA approved his switch to Canada in February 2026, and he made two appearances before an ACL injury ruled him out of the World Cup.
