Martinelli

Gabriel Martinelli is a Brazilian winger and forward who has been a key player for Arsenal since joining in 2019. Known for his pace, pressing intensity, and direct running, he has become one of the Premier League's most dynamic attackers.

Martinelli came through the youth academies of Corinthians and Ituano before Arsenal signed him for £6 million in July 2019. He made an immediate impact with four goals in his first four starts, drawing high praise from rival managers, before a serious knee injury interrupted his 2020 campaign.

Under Mikel Arteta, he evolved into a consistent left-winger and won Olympic gold with Brazil's under-23 side at Tokyo 2021. He has been a regular fixture in Arsenal's title challenges and helped the club win the Premier League in 2025–26.
