Mike Penders

A towering young Belgian goalkeeper who joined Chelsea in 2025 after impressing at KRC Genk and won the FIFA Club World Cup, earning his first senior Belgium call-up in August 2025.

Penders developed through Belgian youth academies before joining KRC Genk's setup in 2018. He progressed to Genk's first team, making his senior debut at 18 in July 2024 and serving as their primary goalkeeper for 2024–25. Chelsea signed him in the summer of 2025 and he was part of their FIFA Club World Cup-winning squad.

He moved on loan to RC Strasbourg in Ligue 1 for 2025–26 to gain regular playing time. He earned his first senior Belgium call-up in August 2025 and was selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
