Miro Muheim

Miro Muheim is a Swiss left-sided defender from Zurich who joined Chelsea's academy in 2014 before returning to Switzerland, eventually joining Hamburger SV permanently in 2022 and earning his senior Switzerland debut in November 2024.

Muheim started at FC Zürich before Chelsea recruited him at age 16 in 2014. With limited first-team opportunities he returned to Switzerland, making his senior debut at St. Gallen in February 2018. A sequence of loan and permanent moves led him to Hamburger SV, where he signed permanently in March 2022.

He made his Switzerland senior debut against Spain on 18 November 2024 in a Nations League match and was selected for the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad. He holds 10 caps.
