Pablo Gavira

Gavi is a Spanish central midfielder for FC Barcelona and Spain, celebrated for his intensity, passing range, and tactical intelligence. He won the Golden Boy and Kopa Trophy in 2022 but saw his development disrupted by a serious ACL injury sustained in November 2023.

Gavi progressed through Barcelona's La Masía academy from age 11 and debuted for the first team in the 2021–22 season, immediately catching the eye with his tenacity and vision. He was awarded both the Golden Boy and Kopa Trophy in 2022, and contributed to multiple La Liga and domestic cup successes.

Internationally, he became a key part of Spain's midfield after debuting in October 2021, helping the team win the 2023 UEFA Nations League. An ACL tear in November 2023 ruled him out for an extended period; he returned in October 2024 but missed most of Spain's Euro 2024 campaign. His caps total reflects this disruption, but he remains in the squad pool.
