La historia

Roberto Alvarado is a left-footed Mexican attacking midfielder who has been a consistent performer for Guadalajara since 2022, and has earned 68 senior caps including three CONCACAF Gold Cup winner's medals.

Alvarado came through lower-division football before joining Necaxa and then Cruz Azul, where he was part of the Liga MX-winning side in 2021. He joined Guadalajara in 2022 and has been one of the squad's key creative forces.

He has been a regular in the Mexico national team since 2019, earning 68 caps and winning the Gold Cup three times. He also has an Olympic bronze medal from the 2020 Tokyo Games and appeared at the 2022 and 2026 FIFA World Cups.
