La historia
Seko Fofana is a dynamic box-to-box midfielder who became one of Ligue 1's outstanding players at RC Lens, won the Marc-Vivien Foé prize in 2022, and was part of the Ivory Coast squad that claimed the 2023 AFCON title.
Fofana joined Manchester City as a teenager but made his name in Italy, logging 112 Udinese appearances before a switch to RC Lens in 2020, where 103 league games, 17 goals, and the 2022 Ligue 1 UNFP Team of the Year elevated him to continental prominence. A lucrative move to Al-Nassr followed in 2023.
After a loan at Al-Ettifaq he joined Stade Rennais in 2025, then moved on loan to FC Porto, helping them win the Primeira Liga in 2025–26. He has made 32 international appearances for Ivory Coast, scoring 7 goals, and was in the 2023 AFCON-winning squad.
